Not all Ipsy bags are exactly the same — there is a basic customization process based on a short style questionnaire that further evolves as you review and rate the products you receive.

Ipsy Unboxing NOvemberYou can see all my past Ipsy reviews here, and this month here’s what I got:

Ipsy Brush NovemberCrown Brush Deluxe Pointed Crease Brush (full size), $5 Like this! It’s a very soft brush, and makes it easy to put on light, blended color. I’m building my low-key eye shadow collection, and this is a nice addition.

Ipsy Eyeshadow NovINSPR Beauty Eye Shadow in Carnival (full size), $13 Like this also! Not a big purple fan but this is a pale brownish purple, and I look forward to giving it a try.

Ipsy Hairspray Nov Coolway Stronghold Spray, $3  Like this. I loved their beach salt spray from July and I actually don’t have any hair spray in the house at all right now. There are rare occasions when I would use it if I had it (often to help bobby pins stay put), and since this is a tiny (read: easy to store) bottle I’m happy to have it.

Ipsy Mascara NovSmashbox Cosmetics Full Exposure Mascara (full size), $22 Like this. I don’t wear a lot of mascara and I’m not choosy about it so having this on hand makes it easier to be good and toss other opened ones after the recommended 3 months (from opening).

Ipsy Highlighting Kit NovModelCo Highlighting Trio (full size), $22 Love this! I don’t have anything like it so will be fun to try out. From the description “This trio contains a luminizer for highlighting cheekbones, a satin-finish blush for cheeks and a glowing bronzer that helps contour and define.”

November ‘Beauty Blast’ makeup bag: It’s pretty, but while I love space and astronomy this isn’t my favorite design by far. Also the “Beauty Blast” tag makes me laugh — like I’m “blasting” into outer space with these products, ha.

Total value: $65

Summary: A great month! I like and will use everything. And, as usual, the value is great.

Have you tried Ipsy? If so tell me what you got in your September bag in the comments! Or if you decide to give it a try use this link and give me a few referral points while you’re at it. Thanks!
