Not all Ipsy bags are exactly the same — there is a basic customization process based on a short style questionnaire that further evolves as you review and rate the products you receive.

I started in June so this is my third “Glam Bag,” (see all my Ipsy reviews here) and I do think they’re getting better with picking stuff I like. Here’s what I got:Marc-Anthony-IpsyMarc Anthony Oil of Morocco Argan Oil Treatment, $5 (0.7 oz deluxe sample) I like this! My hair is really fine, and therefore very prone to wear-and-tear damage, so I’m always up for trying new products for nourishing, repairing and moisturizing. Plus my hair is short so at the recommended 1-2 drops per day this tube should last awhile. Excited to try this!

Me-Pencil-Ipsy‘Pencil Me In’ Cosmetics Natural Eyeliner Pencil in Boysenberry, $8 (full size) This is a deep grey-blue, a perfect color for me! Really handy that it’s got a sharpener right in the cap, and it’s nice and soft (hate pencils that tug).

Skone-pencil-ipsyScone Cosmetics Luxe Doubler Eye/Lip Pencil in Wine, $12 (full size) Such a pretty deep plum color, and even softer than the last one. Love this!

Marsk-brush-IpsyMarsk Pro Line Eye Shadow Brush, $26 I got some eye shadow brushes that I love in my spring FabFitFun box but you can’t really get too many as I’m not great at washing them and having extra lets me switch ’em out when they get too grungy.

HIkari-IpsyHikari Cosmetics Lip Gloss in Salsa, $13 (full size) This looked a little dark for me at first glance but I tried it out and it actually blots down to a very pretty blush color, and has good staying power. It’s one of my new favorites.

Ipsy-bag-August-2015August “Prep School” theme makeup bag: This one is cute! It’s got a glossy plastic finish, and a pink fabric interior. Of the three I’ve gotten so far this is my new favorite (July being second, and June third).

Total value: $64 (not counting the makeup bag)

Summary: This is a good one! A little heavy on the eye pencils maybe, but I have voted those up quite a bit in my past Glam Bag reviews. Also it seems weird to me to send an eye shadow brush with no eye shadow? But I do like everything, all of the colors work for me this time (a huge bonus), and the value is really amazing for a $10 box. Happy!

And that’s that! If you decide to give Ipsy a try use this link and give me a few referral points while you’re at it.
