A delicious, easy to make quick bread featuring fresh cranberries and whole wheat flour for a filling snack or breakfast option.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Butter and flour a 9x5 inch (8 cup) loaf pan, set aside
In large bowl thoroughly mix both flours, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Create a well in the center of dry mixture and set aside
In medium bowl mix melted butter, milk, and egg
Add wet ingredients to dry and stir to combine
Fold in cranberries
Pour batter into prepared loaf pan, sprinkle with sugar (optional)
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean
